Statistically, a majority of women dislike magic shows. Unfortunately, quite a large percentage of talent bookers are -wait for it- women. Hmmm. How to ameliorate this dilemma?
What do women event planners, talent agents, and booking people think about this? Perhaps it's that the popular notion of "magic" and "magicians" has been skewed by either cliché, or our own undoing through a few negligent or guilty few.
Magic can be and in some instances is, an art form and a treasured professional craft. Now to demonstrate -that- fact and reverse those statistics.
Ideas, thoughts?
